Alyaksandr Kazulin Stopped Hunger Strike

His voice is energetic, and he says he feels well. He added it’s wonderful to feel life returning into your body,” Radio Svaboda was told by Iryna Kazulina.
As said by her, Alyaksandr Kazulin does not want to be taken to a hospital, and does not complain about the quality of medical care. Iryna Kazulina expressed a confidence that her husband would be able to finish the hunger strike himself.
To the question who A. Kazulin comments his demands’ fulfilment, she said: “We were given a chance to speak for 3 minutes only in case we would not mention politics. I think he had given a promise, and kept to it”.
As we have informed, Alyaksandr Kazulin continued his hunger strike for 53 days. He protested against Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s rule. He demanded to consider the situation with human rights in Belarus at a session of the UN Security Council. According to the Interior Affairs Ministry, Alyaksandr Kazulin stopped the hunger strike on December 11.
