Lunet – the Future of Bynet
10/02/2007 - 05:02 / Global Voices Advocacy
Interview with Pavel Marozau done by Tunisian blogger Sami Ben Gharbia (http://www.kitab.nl/about/), director of Global Voices Advocacy President Lukashenka said that about anarchy in internet during the meeting with his loyal journalists from Sovietskaya Belorussia propaganda newspaper. Despite the fact that he controls all TV, FM and wire radio stations, and most of newspapers he is still not satisfied. He views internet as threat as neither he nor his men haven’t succeeded in putting internet under total control. I think he can’t fully understand what internet is as he’s a man with old Soviet mentality. And of course, he’s afraid of what he can’t understand.
