Meetings of the New Diaspora Congress in Stockholm 11 June, 13:46
On June 1-3 young Belarusians – cultural figures, students, journalists, dissidents – came to Stockholm (Sweden). The purpose of their visit was to build a platform of cooperation between local organizations and structures working with Belarus, and new Belarusian Diaspora of the region and cultural and public figures from Belarus.

Meeting of the Congress of New Diaspora Activists with EHU Students Rusja and Akbara Continue the Spring Season of Belarusian Clubs in Estonia

A meeting of European Humanitarian University (EHU) and representatives of Belarusian Diaspora in Lithuania with the Congress of New Belarusian Diaspora of Europe and the United States took place in the Human Rights House in Vilnius on June 6. During the meeting the audience was presented with outcomes of the Second Congress of New Belarusian Diaspora which had taken place in Strasbourg in April 2009. The People’s TV satirical project and new internet projects of the Third Way community were presented as well.

On May 30 and 31 Belarusian clubs dedicated to the alternative culture of Belarus took place in Narva and Tallinn. The clubs had two girls famous in Belarus as their guests: Rusja, a famous singer and Ksenija Avimova (Akbara), a photoblogger and journalist.
